Hey, everyone. I know you're all getting a little annoyed at Jade for not posting the decriptions, but she's busy moving, so I'll post what I can. Kiara: *looks up* High ceiling...*looks around* where is anyone? *walks across the room*

Jobb: *Wakes up, lying on the floor.* Huh?--How did I get here..? *Sits up and dusts himself off, blinking.* Where is this?

Aumoura: *Blinks a few times and looks around.* "Um, ok this is different . . . Where am I?"

Naes leans against the wall in one of the corners of the room."Why am I here? Where IS here?"

Lyonesse looks around. *where the hell am I?* she thought.

Kiara jumps startled. "ah...where'd you all come from?"

---

"Does it matter?" Aven says, walking out of a shadow in the corner. "I'm more concerned about what this is, or how to get out anyhow."

"I wonder why were are all here? I'm Aumoura who are you guys?" Aumoura asked as she approached the other two.

Kiara: "What's it to you who I am?" *sneers at Aumoura*

Aumoura laughs at the boy. "ok, looks like someone needs a bit more sleep or some coffee! No need to get rude I was just trying to be polite!"

"I'm Aven." The guy who stepped from the corner says. "Nice meeting you, I hope."

A girl walks over, smiles and nods to Naes, looks at Jobb and says "Wherever this is, here we are, and now, we need to leave"

Jobb smacks his lips a bit, blinking at everyone in the room. "Did I pass out at another party?"

Kiara: *snickers* "wow...this should be fun." *walks over behind Aven*

Lyonesse: "So.... I guess we are all stuck together until we get out of this place?" *sighs, great.*

Ishie: -=plops down on floor=- Lovely! >.< Well, if we are stuck here, we might as well get to know each other. I am Ishie for those that don't know

Jobb blinks a few more times before standing up and walking slowly over to Ishie. "Hi, Ishie. I'm Jobb. Nice to meet you." He sticks out his hand.

Riat & Uri pop out of thin air, falling on top of Kiara. "Ou-how-ho-who-wouch!" They tumble off the top of her, landing hard on the stone floor.

Riat: Ow.
Uri: That really..
Riat: Hurt?
Uri: Exactly.

They both smirk and stand up. "Hi, there!"

Aven frowned, but then grinned and said: "Hi, welcome to the doorless cube. I'm Aven, and you are?"

The twins fidget a bit, standing tall now.

Riat: We are Riat..!
Uri: ..and Uri!

They both bow very low.

"Right. A synchronised twin. Interesting..." Aven says, wondering why the twins are bowing down so far.

The twins stand back up, looking around the room.

Riat: ..No door...
Uri: ..Yeah.. No...
Riat: ..Way out....

They wander around a bit.

"Don't suppose anyone in here is a super-genius or something? There has to be a way out, we only need to find it." Aumoura said as she began looking around.

"Maybe there is a trap door, or like a riddle or something?" Ishie suggested, looking among the crevices in the rooms structure.

---

Aumoura nodded her head in agreement and began checking the structure as well.

---

Jobb looked up. "Ooh, super-secret-hard-to-find-trap-door? There must be one!" He wandered around the room, tapping on stones and bricks he thought looked odd..

Ishie looks at Jobb and raises an eyebrow, but then decides it is no more odd then what she is doing and goes back to her work.

---

Riat and Uri sat down in the middle of the room, pointing at two different corners of the cube-room.

Uri & Riat: It's over there!

---

Ishie instantly pops up, with bright eyes, her hait flailing back wildly "Where??"

---

Jobb looked from one corner to the other, blinking. "They're not the same corner though.. Oh! You mean that whole wall is the way out?" He walked up the the wall, running a hand along it.

Riat and Uri hopped to their feet, nodding.

Both: Uh huh! It's the wall!

Ishie slowly lifts herself up from the laying position and huddles around the wall with
the others..."Look! There!"

Jobb stared at the wall. "Maybe if we all push on it at once..?"

---

"Lets try it!" Ishie pushes hard, as does every one else, but... "It isn't moving!"

---

Riat and Uri wander over to the wall with everyone else.

Riat: No, no
Uri: You're doing it wrong.

Uri walks up to the wall and prods at a small lump in one of the larger bricks, standing back and watching as the wall lifts up and disappears, revealing another cubed room with Tobias and Daina standing in the middle, confused and scared.

"Oh good, the giant rectangle of no escape.." Jobb said, scratching his head and looking at the two new people..

Ishie looked over, and her eyes became the size of frying pans, "Oh my...."

---

Kiara: "oh joy...I'm surrounded by odd people." Slumps down on the floor.

Ishie looks over at Kiara and winks, "Hey, could be worse, we could be stupid!"

---

Kiara: Rolls eyes..."ah..ya...sure"

Jobb looked over to Kiara, smiled, and walked over, throwing an arm over her shoulder. "Hey babe."

Kiara: "Hey...Do you know why we are here?"

---

Ishie: Does anyone know?

Riat Uri: We don't know.
Uri: Nope.

---

Jobb wiggles his nose. "No idea."

---

Kiara: *sighs* "great..and there's no way out!"

---

Ishie: "There has to be! We got in Didn't we?"

---

Kiara: "do you see away out?" Shakes head.

---

Jobb snickers a bit. "Maybe the room was built around us. Like the tree-bed in the Oddyssey.."

---

Ishie ponders a minute..."Yes, that makes sense!"

---

"Sure, why not?" Aven says sarcasticly "C'mon people, let's build a wall around some weird people laying on the floor."
Then he looks more serious. "I suppose there would also be another stone cube room after this one, with maybe 3 new people in it? I don't know about you, but I haven't got any idea of how I got here. As there is no door, somebody didn't drag us in. Building a wall around us would take too long. I say we were put in by magic."

Jobb frowned a bit. "Well--Er--Maybe they built the wall around us with magic! Yeah, that's it." He smiled again, looking at everyone.

"I suppose your idea of how to get us out is as brilliant as your idea of how we got in?" Aven says, while he looks around. The room was dull, very dull...

---

Jobb glared at Aven, sighing slightly. "It's.. not impossible you know... And no, I have no idea how to get out. How 'bout you? Got any brilliant ideas?"

---

Kiara: *laughs* "oh I like how things are going."

---

"We could of course try to ask the room nicely." Aven says, his bad mood caused by being stuck in a cube slighty improving seeing that Jobb finally understood he was being teased. "But I doubt it will work. Still, I'm open for any idea, the room is build magically around us, isn't it now?" On saying that he grinned sarcasticly at Jobb.
then he walked on, looking at the walls. The stones had been thightly fit together, the wall was completly smooth, and there appeared to be no weaker spots anywhere. Frustrated he sat down in a corner, waiting for something, anything at all would do just fine.

Ishie walked over to a wall and slumped down to a sitting position, looking at her shoes," Why don't we ask the wall to move?" She mumbled, "So incredibly stupid it just might work!"

Jobb sits on the floor now, humming and getting slightly annoyed at the room..

Kiara moves to one side and scratches the brick. Suddenly "uh...Jobb??the wall moved." *backs up slowly*

---

Jobb jumps up and runs over to the wall, watching it open, eyes wide.

---

Kiara: *laughs hysterically* I did it! oh ya! *falls down* I broke the wall....

---

Jobb watches as select bricks and stones disolve, creating a large round opening in the wall. Outside the rectangle is a vast desert, no plants as far as the eye can see, but a small town is visible on the edge of a nearby mountain. The flat desert land below is crawling with all assortments of vile creatures, eating one another, howling, and gnawing on most anything they can find. There is no sun, and no sign that there ever was a sun in this area. The sky is black and foggy, and the air is a bit difficult to breathe.

"I ain't goin out there." he says, backing away from the opening.

Aven looks outside and sees the barren landscape. He sniffs and says: "Well the choice is yours. Stay in this stupid cube and die of starvation, or take your chance to survive those little critters. Neither is a very good idea, but I'd go for the one where we at least have a small chance of succes."

Jobb nods, putting his hands in his pockets. He freezes, a confused look on his face, and pulls a few vials filled with differently colored liquids out of his pockets. "Eh? My potions! I didn't lose them! Thank god!" He smiles widely and puts them back in his pocket, stepping through the opening in the wall.

Lyonesse:Walks right behind them. "I am Lyonesse if anyone wanted to know."

---

Kiara: Careepay...*steps up behind Jobb* Do you think we can make it? *rests head on his shoulder*

---

Jobb nods, smiling. "We can make it. Anyone here got any special talents we should know about before hand?"

---

"Well, I plan on going if anyone would like to come with me. It's better than just staying here." Aumoura said as she approached the opening.

---

Aven nodded in agreement

---

Kiara: *laughs* Oh this should be good. *takes Jobbs hand* Shall we?

---

Jobb lifts Kiara's hand up and kisses it, smiling at her. "We shall!" He starts to walk slowly out into the desert waste lands. A wild looking animal, seemingly related to a boar, but much bigger, turns their way and eyes them for a few moments before letting out a horrible call that makes everyone in the group drop to their knees and cover their ears in pain. A thousand more boar-like creatures come running in from the distance, directly at them.

Riat walks out into the desert, followed closely by Uri. Uri cups his hands to his mouth, taking in a huge breath of air, and makes the same call as the animals, but altered. The animals stop dead in their tracks, making confused nosies and movements, soon turning on each other, fighting wildly.

Riat: That'll do-
Uri: -For now.

Aven stepped outside and looked around. "Are we going to run towards the other side quickly, or shall we just see this as an afternoon walk? Either way would please me, as long as you people take care of the beasties, because I haven't got the slightest idea about what powers I got."

Nodding and following Aven, Ishie looks at Jobb and Kiara "Lets run before this becomes an illusion, if I have any powers, we'll find out in battle, ne?"

---

"When we get there why don't we all have practise battles so we can all see if we have any powers." Aumoura suggested as she followed the others, excited at the idea of an adventure.

---

Jobb nodded and started to run, Kiara following behind him.

---

Kiara: Oh..yess...We shall turn them into food! *begins to focus on the pack of boars* Let's play a little mind game.

---

Lyonesse: "Umm... a mind game?" raises a brow.

---

Ishie: "A mind game? Oooo, this could be fun!^^"

---

Kiara: *smiles slightly* Let's all stop...*tilts head*  Suddenly the boars all halted, and Kiara walks ahead a little. *kneels down* Good good! Now..Run off the cliff! *laughs as she watches them run*

*blinks* "That was kinnda cool." Aumoura said suprised as she watched the boars. "Remind me not to get on your bad side!"

---

Lyonesse: Shakes head.

---

Kiara: well...just don't threaten me or come into my territory and you'll be fine. *smiles*

---

Jobb stood, watching Kiara with a vacant expression. "Uhm--Er, Well! That's good. I'm glad you can.. drive people--things.. crazy! It'll be usefull." He smiled, walking up to her and waving everyone up to them. "C'mon, let's get to that town."

Kiara: well...I only use it if I need to...I can't do it to someone else who has this though...It tends to back fire and knock me out. *frowns* oh well...I'm good with what I got *stops suddenly* uhh...what is that?

The ground begins to shake, slightly at first, then increases power. Kiara falls, and looks around.

Lyonesse grabs a hold of her book carried in her coat and reads a spell.

Naes: I am NOT impressed by our LACK of progress. *stops the earth from shaking* let us at least attempt to make it alive across this RANDOM harsh desert place to the ironicly lucky in being there village which is probably inhabited by somthing vile none-the-less. shall we? *walks towards town*

Kiara: *Rolls eyes* oh now we got another wizard....Show off....*mumbles to self.* uh...Sorry...good job...i mean.

Naes: (ignores that) thank you.

---

Jobb pulls Kiara by the hand, leading her to the first hill of many before the village. Slowly, they starting to climb up it, stopping to rest on a large path.

Lyonesse sits down holding her book close to her chest. Listens to the wind and relaxes with ease.

---

Naes: *conjures a thick leather bound booK* "I am going to write down everything that happens on this little journy of ours, in case it comes in handy further on."

---

Kiara: *rests head on Jobbs sholder* How would it come in handy if it's already happend?

---

Jobb smiles, petting Kiara a bit. "Say we meet up with a monster later on that we've already fought. But we forget how to defeat it.. Writing it down could help. Plus, it's always nice to document adventure."

Naes: *smiles at Jobb* "Exactly.."

---

Kiara: *looks around* so now what?

---

Lyonesse: "So are we just going to sit here or are we going to go somewhere?" she asks impatiently.

---

Jobb looks down the path a bit before nodding. "We should go down this path. It looks like it goes up to the village. We should get there in no time. We'll be able to ask someone there how we got in that cube. Carefull, though. Don't bring attention to yourselves."

---

Kiara: That would be something I'd like to know...I just "poof" appeared. *shakes head* strange....

Naes: "Well...there is obviusly a REASON why all of us were chosen to appear from wherever we were to here...what do we have in common? OR what is it that it is opposite?"

Lyonesse shrugs at her statement and walks down path slowly with the others.

Jobb shakes his head a bit, before following behind Lyonesse, making a line behind him on the path. "Don't trust anyone."

Kiara: What do you mean Jobb? *follows behind him*

---

"Who knows why we were all in there. These people could have done it for some whacko ritual or something. You never know.." Says Jobb, stumbling over a rock as he walks.

---

Lyonesse walks down the path slowly and stops suddenly feeling a presence behind them. "No, sudden movements stay still." she whispered.

---

Kiara: *stops suddenly* what?

---

Lyonesse whips out her cross bow and tells everyone to duck while shooting the arrow above them hitting a demon in the heart.

"Its safe to move again." she sighs and puts her weapon away.

---

Kiara: *looks around* huh...How did you know that was there?

---

" I'd rather not say." lyonesse whispers and walks down the path once again.

---

Naes: *thinking*
we need to livin things up a bit....
*everyone falss into quicksand*
"that works..."

---

(dm) the party is waist deep in quicksand with no see-able objects to pull thm selves out. There is a bottle in one of the magicians cloack that can tranport them out, but only five- which do you choose?

Naes: *sweat-drop* "well thats absolutly dreadfull. Think everyone...who are the amrts, straongest and most skilled? find them and maybe, when we transport them, they can get out the rest of us."

Darrien apeeres in the quicksand with you (sorry didnt know what else to do)

Aumoura looks at the group and stands perfectly still. *shakes head* "Hang on a second and I'll see if there is anything to pull you guys out." Looking behind her, she grabs the dead demon and starts to skin it with two blades which were tucked in her boots. Taking the spine, she holds it out to the closest person. "Here, take this and I'll see if I can't pull you out."

Darrien reaches for the spine..."I cant reach!!"

"Ok, just a minute!" Getting down onto her stomach, Aumoura crawls as close to the edge as she dares and sticks the spine out again. "Try now! Just reach damnit, then anyone who is close to you can grab onto your arm and we can get them out as well!"

Lyonesse whispers a chant and starts to levitate above the sinking sand. Holds two strong staffs and yells

"Grab ahold of these I will help pull you out."

Naes ignores everyone, chants and sulight apears arround her....the sand warms up and becomes dry sand...she easily pulls herself out...looks at everyone else and says..."think arent always as complicated as it seems....this was a test...you ALL need to learn how to better get along and we'll never make it out here.."

Darrien looks at Naes "Ha ha whay didnt we think of thtat?...Ha ha"

Lyonesse: Glares at Naes and mumbles.. "show off."

Kiara: *giggles* that was totally AWESOME *does a little dance* I was so flippin scared and then POW we are saved...cool...*lays on the ground grinning*

Darrien:Ok so what next where are we going now?

Lyonesse sighs and looks to the sky.

As they advance toward the distant village in the waning light, a change is noticable in the group. People begin sizing each-other up and judging one anothers strengths and weaknesses. The group is unsteady, unaligned, tired and hungry...

Pushing back her hair behind her left shoulder Naes flicks her eyes across the desert. A deadly silence greets her across the grey coarse sands and shivering winds. nothing she thinks, spine tingling </i> its like there's nothing there</i>. Composing herself she turns her eyes once more toward their destination. The village.

Aven kicked a rocked and watched it bounce and slide in the sand infront of him. A quick flash of silver within the sands catches his eye. Kneeling quickly he runs his long fingers through the grey sand. Several more small flickers appear through out the sands. Taking some in the palm of his right hand he leans in toward it. metal shards...

"brrr" Kiara exclaims, moving closer to Jobb and pulling her sweater over her small hands. "The wind is sure picking up....I don't think I like this place anymore..."

Lyonesse rolls her eyes, "Its not like this is some kind of virtual reality game you know."

"Whats that?" ask Riat and Uri.

"Whats what?" Naes asks, prying her eyes away from the village across the desert. "Do you see something?"

Riat and his brother Uri stare out across the desert.

"What are they looking at?" grumbled Daina, obviously bored with the whole ordeal.

A ripple, like you'd see in a lake, flowed slowly across the desert in the coarse sands.

"Wonder what the heck is doing that." said Jobb, arm around Kiara protectivly, "Maybe we should keep moving...."

Still staring at the sand in his palm Aven suddenly snapped his attention over to the others. "What?"

Jobb pointed out toward the sands at the ripples forming in it from the winds.

As the winds kicked up sand around him Aven felt a small prick along his right wrist. Dropping the sand and wincing he pulled back his sleeve and stared. A small cut gleamed with fresh blood along his wrist. In it he could see clearly something silver..."RUN!" he said loudly. Backing away from the others. "We need to run. Run now. Run fast." And without waiting to see of the others understood Aven turned on his heel and ran.

now what is that all about... "OW!" he exclaimed. Jobbs left hand flew up to his face where he'd felt a sharp pain. Bringing his fingers back he saw a small smear of blood. "What the heck is..." and then two more sharp pains slashed his right arm. Jobb quickly pulled of his sweater to see two more streaks of blood. Something silver caught his eye. Pulling his arm close to him he looked at his cuts closely. what on earth...

"shit!" Naes yelled at no one in particular. Something has scratched her leg. looking down and inspecting the area she deemed the wound clean. But what had caused it? They hadn't seen any animals in hours.

"Um..." Kiara pulled on Jobbs arm.

"What is it?" he asked, but needed no answer. As looked out across the sands the ripples became large ocean like waves, silver flecks gleaming within the sands, and it was head quickly and purposefuly toward them. "RUN!!!" he yelled.

But the others need no telling, all turned and fled from the waves of sand, winds ripping and their clothes, shimmering shards tearing at their skin.

Panting, lungs aching, Aven collapsed on the large stone doors that barred him from his path; the village beyond, and safety. With his little reamining strength he pounded on the doors and screamed for someone to let him in.

Hair whipping her face Naes tried despratly to see through swirling sands. Arms pumping, she forced her way against the winds. I can't breathe....I can't see....
